Once you get it all set it tells you anything you want to know about the outdoors. I have no problem with settings dropping when unit is bumped and no issues with the alarms. Fun compact little tool. Easy to load, use and most importantly read. Found the solar/lunar information to match almost exactly with tables and other information that can be found on line. Good tool for looking at when is the best time to fish and get bites. Very pleased with the item. Previous item that I owned from another company was similar but was difficult to use and hard to read (as well a quit working and no longer made). The PFHS2 is a quantum improvement.
