4.0 out of 5 stars Good bike, easy to set-up., November 15, 2011

I just got this bike for my son 4th birthday. It's a functional bike since you can remove the training wheels and the push handle, and adjust the seat height. So far,I'm happy with this bike. However, the water bottle stinks with plastic. It's better to throw out that cup and use a better quality cup, you don't want your child to drink the chemical coming from that cheap thing. Happy purchase and a great deal with free shipping.

4.0 out of 5 stars I have an identical one in a different brand and it is great!, November 11, 2011

I thought I'd let people know about this style of bike since there are no reviews on it yet. I have one in Australia that is identical (the brand is Xero), and it is a great thing to have the steerable parent handle, as I can take my 2.5 year old on it even though she has not mastered peddling. The handle turns the front wheel. We can push it along sidewalks similarly to the push tricycles - I see it as a great next step from those. The handle comes off easily so you can put it in your car. Otherwise, it is the same as any other 12" bike. Being Schwinn I think it is safe to assume the quality is similar to the one I have. These bikes are a little more common in Sydney (even though they are twice as much). I'm just putting 4 stars on it because I haven't seen this particular one in person. I hope this will help you decide until other reviews come in.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Fantastic Bike that Grows with Your Child, January 10, 2012

We were wondering if we should get a tricycle or a bicycle for our 2 year old boy initially and chanced upon this bike on amazon. It is an excellent purchase for us.

1) The bike is sturdy and does not topple easily.
2) The push handle allows parents to steer the bike if needed. This is really a "plus plus" point for parent with a young kid.
3) The height of the seat can be adjusted and training wheels and the push handle can be removed once the child can cycle on his own.

Our boy is in the 50th percentile in terms of height and he can easily put his legs on the pedals. We need to push him a little with the handle bar but he has started to pedal as soon as his second attempt on his bike. Right now, he tries to stand on the pedals occasionally imitating grown ups. With a helmet and proper guidance, it is a safe and excellent bike for a child to pick up proper cycling skills.

Overall, we are please with the bike. It is easy to assemble and was... Read more

Bought it for x-mas for a 5yr old and he totally loves it! His friends also enjoy it when he takes it to their houses and it is fairly safe to use inside. It spins of course so pictures and breakables might want to watch for however even as an adult it's fun to watch.

It lights up very well at night too.

5.0 out of 5 stars Nothing fancy but gets the job done, September 20, 2011

Lots of letters and numbers. You probably won't use them all. The letters have stayed on so far.

This is how I applied the letters and numbers. First, I cut the letters and numbers that I needed and arranged them in the order that I needed. Then, I taped the back portion of the "sticky protector" and fined tuned the alignment. Then, I took masking tape and put it over the face of the letters and numbers (it took a few passes to get it all). Then, I peeled the sticky protector the back of the letter and numbers and transferred the whole thing (on the masking tape) on to my boat. Press down hard and the letters will stick to the boat. Then peel the masking tape off. Everything should be nice and straight as one unit. Tedious? Yes. But it's worth the time and effort to have straight and equally spaced letters.

This registration kit had the right mix of solid letters, and a sufficient set of letters and numbers for our jet ski. I cleaned the hull then prepped it with rubbing alcohol. The letters were easy to apply, I was even able to lift them when I needed to straighten them.

The coast guard national rules, that apply to all states, for boat lettering is they must be solid. Many people like the variety of colors and patterns available but I don't want to be hassled or ticketed so I just went along with the rules.
